… a happy New Year!
Despite the beginning of a new year, everything has remained still the same here in Nepal.
We meet the street children almost every day and are still trying to motivate them through various activities to reduce their glue consumption despite the coldness. However, especially at this time of the year it is very difficult to convince them about this, because the cold is unbearbable on the street without the numbing effects of the glue.
Recently, Ramesh one of the older street boys, has shown us great development. Ramesh was one of the participants in our Music Camp in 2010. After the Music Camp he decided not to go back to life on the street. In a short time the OneLoveOneWorld team arranged for him to stay with a very nice Nepalese family. Unfortunately, he decided to leave this family after some time and returned to the street. The OneLoveOneWorld team spoke with the family about taking him back because he has taken heart again and now he is very enthusisastic about leaving the streets. The family is willing to give him full support and take him under their wings. We will also support him with all our strength and will do the best to make him feel comfortable in his new home. We will accompany him when he returns to his new home and whilst he searches for a job.

first of all i want to give both syampathy and empathy to those children who are surviving in street in this cold atmosphere.however,i thnik to develop any new project, we should change our thinking from our heart and mind.any change should be started from ourselves.hence, first be aware upon street children then begin the task onward it.

i am thankful to u for the beginning of this precious task in nepal.it will build our country because childrens are the foundation of power and will. if we divert the empowerment of these children’s will really, we will see the new and properious form of our country.
